League Update:  

Div 1: Congratulations to Cougars, deserved winners of Div 1….another new name on the Trophy. Next 3 places (for Terry Price Cup qualification*) still TBD.

The outstanding fixture between SWP and Barry is to be awarded to Barry as SWP not prepared to meet Barrys’ travel costs.

Div 2: TBD could be Cardiff Capitals or West Wales.

U/18: TBD could still be any one of 4.

U/16:  TBD could be UWIC or West Wales.

* As previously notified the Terry Price Cup is being held on Saturday 2nd May @ UWIC and Sunday 3rd May @ WIS and as usual will involve the top 4 teams in the SWVL and the top 4 teams in the NWL. All 4 SWVL teams made the Semi Finals last year and Cougars won the Cup.

Promotion / Relegation Pay Off:

All outstanding Div 1 and Div 2 matches must be played / claimed by 19/04/09. Any potential ties for 7th / 8th position in Div 1 and 1st / 2nd position in Div 2 will have to be settled prior to arranging the Promotion / Relegation play off (1 match) date.

Cup Update:

Finals day is Sunday 12/04/09 @ Rhondda Fach Leisure Centre. Order of play is:-

10:00am:  U/18 Final                                        TBD*      vs     TBD*

12:00am:   U/16 Final                                       UWIC     vs     West Wales

2:00pm      Plate Final                         Cymmer Wizards vs   Swansea Storm 1 or 2 *

4:00pm      Cup Final                                         Cougars  vs  Barry

* TBD due to unplayed games.

All Clubs involved please note:-

All teams must have a full set of matching kit (with alternative set available). Any player without  matching kit will not play.
Any player without a valid BW registration card will not play.

Following full consideration of the representations by both Suns and Swansea 2 the Committee has decided that the full cost of the postponed Plate fixture must be met by Swansea 2. This matter is not subject to any further discussion, and if payment is not made in full by Swansea 2 by the date of the SWVBA AGM (provisionally 14/06/09), then disciplinary action will be considered.
